SIL Executive Workshops.

A working session with your board, executive or senior management, built on a perspective hard to come by: an outside view grounded in the day-to-day of running SIL.

We run the roster-to-claim workflow inside multiple providers across Australia every day. We have been invited into more than 130 SIL providers to assess how they really work. And we have turned all of it into a proven method, delivered at scale. That gives us a view few organisations have: practical experience inside provider operations, combined with visibility across the sector.

Two hours of everything the sector has taught us, centred around your organisation.

What we cover.

The pattern

What we see inside providers

  • Where alignment breaks between funding, rostering and claiming.
  • The compliance and operational exposure most providers carry today.
  • Which claims cannot be evidenced when somebody asks, and why.
  • What it costs: supports never claimed, and money handed back.

Your organisation

Where your problems are

  • How your roster-to-claim methodology holds up against the pattern.
  • Which problems are yours, and which are the whole sector's.
  • What we would expect to find in your houses, given your set-up.
  • Knowing the numbers are wrong is not the same as knowing what to change.

The reforms

What is about to change

  • The new SIL Practice Standards: from holding a policy to proving it, house by house.
  • Mandatory registration, the new compliance bar, and separating tenancy from support.
  • I-CAN, the new planning model, tighter eligibility and slower scheme growth.
  • The claims rebuild, where every claim is checked against your records.

Why we run these

Providers who run well do better by their participants.

We watch the same problems cost providers money year after year, most of them fixable once somebody names them. And those problems rarely stay financial: they show up in rosters that no longer align, teams under pressure, and less capacity to deliver the support participants need.

Stronger financial performance gives providers more capacity to invest in their people, their homes and the quality of support they deliver.

That is why these workshops exist.

Built around your organisation, not delivered at it.

This is a conversation, not a presentation. What we provide is tailored specifically to your organisation, built from your team's input and questions on the day. Come ready to get into the detail, and bring whoever needs to hear it - other members of the executive, your leadership team.

  • In your offices, with your executive and senior management in the room.
  • A working session, not a presentation deck read out at you.
  • Your questions worked through against what we see inside other providers.

Who you will be sitting down with.

Joshua Pix

Director

Josh brings more than 20 years of experience across project management, software implementation, finance and operational delivery, much of it spent working closely with disability providers to improve the systems and processes their operations run on. He designed the roster-to-claim method Resolv now delivers at scale, and brings the pattern from inside the sector: what breaks, how consistently, and what fixing it is worth. Executives value his analytical approach, commercial insight and ability to turn complex challenges into practical, efficient solutions.

Questions.

How long is the session?
Around two hours, though we work to your diary. The value is in the discussion, so we would rather run a little long than cut the questions short.
What happens after the session?
You keep everything we covered, and most executives leave with a list they can work through themselves. That is the whole point of it. If you want us involved in any of it later, you will tell us.
Who should be in the room?
Your executive and senior management. The people who will have to act on what changes: operations, finance, quality, and whoever owns rostering and claiming.
Do we need to prepare anything?
No preparation is required. Bring your questions. If you want the session weighted towards a particular problem, tell us beforehand and we will build around it.
Is it online or in person?
Either. In person works better for a working session, and we travel - but we run these online where that is easier for your team.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There is no pitch waiting at the end. Why we run these at no charge is above: we see the same problems over and over again within providers and we want you doing what you do best, supporting the people in your houses.

See where you stand.

Tell us a little about your organisation, and we will come back with a session shaped around it.
